I AM YOU AS AN EXPLOSION        performance, 15 minutes, 2005

is a celebration of the qualities of a material the VELCRO company once invented. I AM YOU AS AN EXPLOSION  is a piece for two actors wearing VELCRO suits. The text  is a  dialogue between Robert Falcon Scott in his last night in Antarctica and Kathleen Scott who on this expedition stayed in England.  Wearing a suit made of this material, a person can roll upwards on a wall if the wall is covered with this material too. Two persons dressed in suits like this, will hardly be able to separate from one another after they touched once. In trying to do so, their suits produce the soundtrack to something that we call GRAVITY and something we call LEAVING.
